Looking up....

For about 5 minutes before the sun went down this evening there was a red glow in the sky and the hills here in the valley looked liked there was a spotlight on them...it is a sign that there is a Nor'wester weather pattern around I think.

I took this looking up from our place towards the Gondola that runs up to the rim of the valley. You can see the dark area on the left where the rocks have been blasted lately as the workmen are trying to stabilize the land from where the EQ damage happened. The road is still closed up there but you are able to walk and bike in certain parts. It used to be such a busy place up there before the EQ's ...we have ventured up there since, Banjo loves to run for miles thru the tracks.
We are very lucky to have these hills to look out on, they change all the time with the weather etc.
