"An Unfortunate Mix Between Lana and Kurt Cobain"

We went out early again to finish our transect, and managed to get it finished. After breakfast, and lecture, I even had enough time a nap. I know. It's scary.

Lunch, then lab to record data in excel.

And thennnnnnn I was leaving the commons after a coffee break before lecture and twisted my ankle while descending the stairs.

Of all of of the super cool way to get an injury on this island. I misstep on the god damn stairs.

Anyway. I am on a crutch (I refuse to use two) and I've sort of been hobbling everywhere. It's super embarrassing and uncomfortable, but I'd rather not put any pressure on it at all and have it heal quickly. As opposed to my normal strategy of ignoring it until it hurts so bad that I can't move at all.

So I skipped out on transecting with my group and Jan, and sat in the commons and studied instead. I may finally understand the nitrogen cycle.
