Why do the tides have no regards for my sleep patterns?!

Casey, Evan, Samsuda and I left at 6 to find our transect site and start recording organisms. After a lot of jumping over rocks, gull crap puddles, and slipping on Ascophyllum, we found it. We actually have the best site. It's super regular and easy to get around on. We got five quadrats done in the morning, and several fun experiences like slipping on rockweed and almost falling into really deep water!

I think we had a few lectures (I'm writing this a day later and it was a long day okay), but we got out of them really early. Our group went to do more transecting directly after and skipped dinner so we could catch the low tide again. We had to leave early because of a storm, so we dropped our samples in the lab, grabbed some leftovers, and ran back to the lab to identify mystery inverts.

Once we finished, I went back to the commons to have a cup of tea and got roped into playing a card game. I suck a lot at card games. Realized I didn't have a picture to blip so I took this: the world's worst selfie. Before going to sleep, we star/lightning gazed for a bit.
