Fields of Gold

I bought myself a new toy last weekend: a SatNav. So today I had a play and took a trip out to Hinton Amptner, a National Trust property in the middle of the Hampshire countryside. The device chose a different route to one I would use, but it was very efficient and proved a lovely relaxing journey. Coming home, I chose the route I would have taken (and switched the voice instructions off!) - another lovely country drive - and according to the device cost 10p more in petrol. Only a little difference, but would add up over time!

This was the view across the fields at Cheesefoot Head near Winchester on the way home. Not sure I'm doing it justice, but colour in the dramatic sky reflected the colour of the corn.
