Fleeting Visit

I was just going to get my dinner out of the oven when to my surprise and delight this large dragonfly flew over my pond. She flitted around a bit - I say she as she actually landed a few times and seemed to be laying eggs. Fortunately the camera was close at hand and I managed a few quick shots before she flew off. It was worth the slightly overcooked fish and chips dinner!
