My son is on holiday this week, and hanging about the house much more than usual.

Normally we're like two ships passing in the night, and catch up over dinner once a week.

Today he produced the local weekly newspaper with a flourish. He's featured in it. The story actually carries on to the next page, so even bigger than it looks in this shot. He shares the space with best selling author Val McDermid, who's featured after announcing her pro independence voting intention.

The newspaper is giving equal space to both campaigns in the weeks before the vote. An example to others.
