Right as rain

I felt much better after a night's sleep, though it didn't stop me losing my car keys as I left for work. Fifteen minutes later I found them..... under the bed! Mad.

I continued my holiday mood with a very easy catch up at work this morning, feeling totally chilled and with an afternoon off to look forward to.

I left on time, dashed home to change and drove over in the sun (24C) to meet C and Teddy at Perry Hill for my first visit since they completed on it. On the way, I spoke to S and confirmed that I'd love to spend a week with them in Pembrokeshire and that I'd booked a week off work. I thanked her very much for inviting me and she sounded as excited as I am. I just hope the weather holds.

When I got to C's new house, we sat under the shade of one of their ancient apple trees on a rug, with Teddy in his nappy and had a lovely, relaxing catch up. It's been ages since we've seen each other. C is getting bigger at 6 months pregnant. Teddy is progressing each time I see him and we had loads of giggles and cuddles and played peekbo with my sun hat. When S arrived we all had a wander round the house, garden, stables and garage to explore. It's so exciting for them.

When I left it was 27C and I went straight to the outdoor pool. It was pretty full but it was lovely just bobbing about amongst the children, parents and teens. I enjoyed a great hour in the sun and then drove home still in my swimmers and got straight into my pjs for a quiet night in.
