The humidity has disappeared for a while and the heat is bearable. Had another typical first day of the week, it's beginning to meld into one giant lump of memory, indistinct from many others. Ate well and got some really delicious food from my students. It's very interesting having Brazilian food and delicious. Very thankful.

I also LOVED the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug last night. TOTALLY crazy and should have seen it at the theatre. I didn't really enjoy the first Hobbit too much, not enough to see the 2nd one, but damn it was awesome. I borrowed a bunch of other movies too including Chronicle and Elysium. Hopefully they're good. Also had time to formulate more plans for the upcoming holidays. Good times.
