Trying out the new lens!

I picked up a 70-300mm telephoto/macro lens for my Canon and gave it a try tonight walking around Bellingham Bay Marina and finishing off at the Fairhaven Shipyard. I'm pretty pleased with it and having the combination makes it a lot easier to switch from long distance to a close up with the flick of a switch. I'm glad it's the digital age or I would have used up some serious $$$ tonight!
