Dragonfly in flight, finally!
If you've ever captured an image of a humming bird then you know the timing has to be just right for a clear shot but to get one of a dragonfly..........well that has been another challenge at least for me. They are the most unpredictable iridescent flying insect with absolutely no rhyme or reason why they fly in so many inconsistent directions sporadically and to catch them in one moment of stillness is not easy. How they even reproduce has got to be a science marvel by itself. :) This one I took today but not as clear as I would have liked it to be because the light being behind darkened the image but because this is my 100th Blip I thought it would be cool to post something that I have been really working on and upgrade to a full membership. I really enjoy looking at all the photos people post and it gives me good ideas and challenges to tackle.
