A sign of the times.

Have had better Mondays. Took a cow down to the market at St Boswells this morning. Had to get the vet out to calve a heifer.The calf was rotten and ruptured the cow inside so she had to be put down as well,so a total loss all round. Went off to bale silage only to have the wrapper control box pack up,so had to get a contractor in to wrap what I had baled. Managed to get the rest of the barley straw baled by 11pm and met the wrapper guy as I was heading home.
This footpath sign was at the top of the field. It has had a hard life.Not only has someone run in to it so that it now points at to ground, but just to prove it really is bandit country ,some one has been using it for target practice as well.
