Edinburgh and the Forth

Heavy rain last night ,so no baling today. Finished carting out calves to the hill then spread the fert on the rape which was drilled last week. It is through already so will need to keep an eye out for pigeons,slugs and flea beetles,all of which enjoy eating wee rape plants.
Mrs Farmerboab & kids off to cinema to see "How to train your dragon 2" so went to check cattle,then to see if straw bales were still in one piece. This view of Arthur's Seat and the Forth looked so much better in real life.
