Gasometer

Those who regularly travel the M8 from Edinburgh to Glasgow will quickly recognise this well-known Provan Gas Work's landmark. As can probably be perceived from this blip, I was stationary in my car at the time to be able to take it. Indeed, a regular hazard of this main motorway link between East and West Central Scotland is the risk of not moving at all - as was the case tonight when it took an hour to travel what should have been a ten minute journey to the Kingston Bridge. Anyway, eventually made it down to visit my aunt and Uncle Walter for dinner and belated exchange of Christmas presents.
