Giraffes in the mist

I met up with two friends of mine tonight, one of whom I have not seen for a long while. It was wonderful to catch up and have a lovely meal together, it's great when you haven't seen someone in a while yet it feels like you've just picked back up where you left off. I took this photo later on around 11:00, the mist had rolled in and the evening was considerably chillier. I enjoyed the atmospheric nature of this photo and the statue of giraffes looking strangely lifelike. I swear the smaller one is actually turning affectionately to the larger giraffe, a baby to it's mother. A magical evening!
