Lip-smacking!

We've had another much needed day of not doing very much. I nipped out at lunch time to get a new ironing board - very exciting, I know lol! Alan watched the F1 and I tidied round and got my ironing basket ready for Sue tomorrow. It's actually making me very organised, knowing that someone is coming to do the cleaning and ironing.

I had a play with the boys in the garden and love this photo of Milou on the chair. He kept lying down so I had some treats in my hand to try and get him to look up and fortunately I was ready when he licked his lips in anticipation - of course he got his reward.

Then at about 4pm we went for a walk to the Smuggler's Rest, a bar/restaurant on the cliffs at Telescombe. It's usually a meeting point for our girls nights out but Alan's not been before - they have lovely terrace overlooking the sea, so we we got a drink and sat out in the sun. It's about a 2 mile walk from here, and very close to one of the houses we saw yesterday, so it was a good test to walk it to get a true feel of the distance.
