Lazy Sunday

Awoken early by a painful ankle. When I got home yesterday after demonstrating I had a slightly swollen ankle which was painful to touch. After putting an ice pack on it and sitting with my foot up, when I went to bed it was fine. A quick (!) visit to our local minor injuries centre and back home with a pressure stocking on and told to sit with my feet up all day - result!

So, managed to catch up on some sleep, caught up with magazines, watched Grand Prix and Commonwealth Games.

Other news - daughter took her future husband to Luton to catch his flight back to Germany - missed the flight! (Bad traffic getting there) He has managed to get an early morning flight tomorrow so they have booked into local accommodation. Son has made his way to Essex where he starts his 3 month internship tomorrow.

Finally, managed to cook dinner, do the ironing and water the garden also. Whilst watering noticed how lovely my hydrangea is looking so had to take a shot.
