The Lonely Coast.. West Coast Singers

Saturday night Big R and I were privileged to spend the evening in a lovely West Seattle Garden by folks who host small musical concerts of mostly local groups. A friend of mine's daughter is a singer, uke player and guitarist in the group The Lonely Coast. She and two other woman sang and played instruments for a couple hours. They did many eastern European folk songs and some from the U.S.A. Usually just Ann Mathews and Valerie Holt compose the The Lonely Coast but they were joined by local musician and frequent Pike Street Market busker Annie Ford. Annie Ford played her fiddle and her wash pan bass.

What a thoroughly enjoyable evening spent in a lovely garden too. Thanks yous to The Lonely Coast for such a pleasant evening!
