Amsterdam!

At 5.30am the alarm went off! At 6am we were on our way to humberside airport. Humberside must be one of the smallest airports I've seen and I've seen some small airports!! We arrived in Amsterdam just after 12am local time. We made our way to our hotel and somehow managed to hitch a free ride on the tram!

We had a lovely lunch and then we both flaked out at the hotel! We spent a few hours relaxing before getting ready to go out. Chris booked a gorgeous teppanyaki restaurant and therefore makes my blip tonight. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere a delight. We met a lovely couple, the guy from New Jersey and his girlfriend from France but both had lived in Ireland and now in the uk. The girl had a bizarre accent.... French with a real Irish twang, very odd!

We are now back at our hotel, apparently tomorrow is going to be a very busy day! We are going out of town - I can't wait to find out what Chris has organised.
