Sleepy Dad!

A gorgeous run this morning on the beach right by the water. We did three miles and it was just perfect!

We then headed to Mum and Dads to do the conifers. I won't lie but this is the first year that Dad hasn't helped to sweep up or pick up the cuttings and put into the bin. He did go for a little walk though but that seemed to exhaust him. Chris and I cut the conifers in two hours. Lucky we had two hedge cutters so it made relatively easy work. Mum made lunch and after a freshen up mum and I went to an old pub to investigate their tea room. Oh dear, what a shame! The building is a gorgeous thatch and been around forever and I remember it in a very different way to what it is now! The new owners have painted the lovely original oak beams blue!!! It's more chintz than shabby chic..but the cakes were nice!

Chris and I are back at our B&B getting ready to go out for dinner with mum and dad.

Oh and I now know where I am going tomorrow!!! I got a text message....apparently I'm all checked in!!! I will reveal all tomorrow :)
