Moving Day!

Went to College Park today to help the son move out of University View apartments and into a shared house, a couple of blocks off campus.

OMG did the new place take me back to student digs back home. It was an old house with lots of old furniture and that scent of "je ne sais quois" :)
The room is a little smaller than he is used to but the kitchen is much bigger and his new bed doesn't have springs poking out! The biggest plus is that it's half the price of the old place!

We cleaned up his part of the old apartment (which was not in as bad a state as the daughter's dorm room back in May), but he can't get it inspected until Monday. Hopefully it will stay clean long enough to get our security deposit back!
