Clematis campaniflora
A small flowered species clematis now flowering profusely as it scrambles up trellis and over shrubs. The individual flowers, a delicate shade of lavender blue, are about 3cm across. Cut down to the ground in Spring it's growth extends to around 3m so far!
The name Clematis campaniflora comes from the bell shaped flowers, albeit a rather flared bell in this form.
