On the Origin of Species, Charles Darwin

Another Books About Town blip for you today. I got very excited about this one, having studies Zoology and Evolution at University. It is one of my favourite topics to teach students as well... a very misunderstood concept!

After school today a bunch of us from Plumstead went on a bit of a pub crawl to celebrate the coming end of year, and to farewell those who are leaving. It was a fun night out and I got to chat to a lot of people from different departments I hadn't really interacted with before. My highlight was probably meeting the resident British Bulldog in one of the pubs though, he was incredibly relaxed and didn't seem to be bothered at all by the group of drunken teachers showering him with love and attention.
