Bonsai

I've been tasked (as part of my temp head gardener duties) to take care of Mr A's bonsai.
This wasn't something I relished the prospect of, as they are tricky little buggers to care for.

However, I've followed instructions so far and today noticed that it's flowering! I'm feeling rather pleased with myself, as you can imagine.

I've had a lovely chilled out day today; quick tidy round this morning that's all it needed while the dirt devil is away from home!, then brought my Mum round for a tour of the garden. Tomorrow is her birthday, so we are going to Manchester for the day.
I've given her a present and card today, all ready for tomorrow.

Mr A is now in Denver, where wifi is shockingly bad.
I only think of it from my point of view, in that he can't Skype or whatsapp me, but from their technical point of view, it's making hard work of sending footage back to the UK.

They went for beers last night and apparently, as they're a mile high, the local rule is a pint of water for every pint of beer. Not sure how well this was adhered to!

Tonight, I'm going to chill out with a movie 'We're the Millers', which my sister recommended. Hope it's a good one.
