Hyena

We've had a BRILLIANT day today.

We met up with Laura and Steve in Manchester for a free music festival called 'Festwich'. All the bands were tribute acts, so we've seen the Flew Fighters, Mentallica, Faith No Man and Ozzfest (to name a few).

It's a 2 day festival, so we got tickets for both days, though tomorrow looks doubtful due to the weather.

It only cost us £2.90 per ticket (for the booking fee) so it doesn't really matter if we don't go tomorrow, although I would like to see the Killerz and Higher on Maiden.

We left early tonight to go further across Manchester to see another band called Hyena. We saw them at Download festival a few weeks ago and they rocked!

They are 4 young guys from Telford, who have been friends since they were babies and are tipped to be the next big thing.

The venue tonight was tiny; a veggie cafe bar, but as good a place as any to do a P.A. (Which is how they described the event to me when I spoke to them).

They were more than happy to pose for a photo pre gig :-)
