Beach baby

Today we hung out by the beach & surrounds in San Sebastian.

We ventured up Monte Urgall which has in its perimeter the Cementerio de los Ingleses, a cemetery dedicated to the English who perished while trying to capture the city from the French in 1813.

At the summit there is a 16th century fortress of Santa Cruz de la Mota which houses a small museum and 3 chapels including the one dedicated to the Cristo de la Mota - this chapel has a huge statue of Christ - the Sagrado Corazion.

Now looking forward to some yummy tapas, vino tinto & live jazz music as the city is hosting its 49th jazz festival on the beach.
