Ark required!

Today it rained - and then some more Normally in Summer there is no water flowing over this drop at all but after today's downpour, water was appearing everywhere. The back of our fireplace is running water, two springs have sprung up at the base of our walls and several vegetables have been washed away as we discovered rivers that we never knew existed.
Sablieres even got a mention in the French national news as the commune with the greatest rainfall - 142 mm today and most of that was in a couple of hours. Sadly the thunder and lightening did not do our phone much good and that is now suitably frazzled. I hope Amazon will be their normal generous selves.
A friend from the UK arrived today and drove up from Nimes through the worst of it, although as ever here by late evening there were blue skies everywhere.
