Scenes from the Farm
Not an ordinary farm, but the estate of Ruth Mott in Flint, Michigan. Pretty house, pretty gardens, and a lot of people.
They were holding a Firefly Walk. I didn't want to burst their bubble, but...how many fireflies are you going to see from 5-8 p.m.? IT'S NOT EVEN DARK YET!!!
We picked Merrick up from daycare, and headed over. "I want to go see the animals." He wouldn't touch the boa constrictor, or the parrot. All he wanted to do was to climb up the "frog", and roll down the hill.
Grandpa...however, strolled the grounds, snapping some of the summer color.
Always fun to visit. The grounds are open to the public about 10-12 days during the summer.
11:55 p.m. NOT A BACK BLIP!!!
