After the party

A hectic morning at work, trying to get things sorted out after 2 days away and before next week.

The haar was well down in the morning, wet, but it had lifted by the time I went home to change from my work role to my volunteering one.

Off west, realising very quickly that the uniforms are not designed for hot weather. Sticky!

Then an interesting evening. Some VVIPs had been there in the morning we but still had people who are well known. Politicians, sports personalities and the BBC presenters. We smiled, a lot.

I saw 2 Scottish golds, including Hannah Miley, from Inverurie, which was great. It was a great evening and we worked well as a team. And we finished early so home before 1.

And tomorrow we do the whole thing all over again.
