Black Arches

A much smaller catch in the moth trap last night, but still a few new species for the garden, including this very smart male Black Arches. I'd heard of other people finding this species in their traps and was wondering why I hadn't seen one, especially as it uses a wide range of native trees as larval food plants. I'm giving the moths a rest tonight, but will trap again on Friday or Saturday.
