A little R & R

I noticed on Tuesday when we were at the Lakefront that the yellow boat is moored back out in the water! I photographed it once before, shrouded in fog, & thought I'd photograph it today in the sun. As I was walking down the pier, a duck slowly swam over to the rope between the buoy & the boat & climbed up onto the rope, where it was apparently resting in the sun! Seems a precarious perch to me, but the duck seemed perfectly relaxed & happy there! I color popped the boat, the buoy & the duck, but then decided to add the blue of the water back in as well, because I really liked the dappled reflection of the water on the side of the boat, & the yellow reflected from the boat back into the water! :) Look LARGE
