Moth

Tom had put a large piece of plastic outside the back door last night so that he'd remember to set it out this morning with the recyclables that are picked up on Wednesdays. When he went out to move it to the curb, this moth was resting on it. I have no idea what kind of moth it is--I tried looking it up, but there are so many, & none of them looked just like this one....maybe one of you fellow blippers will recognize it! The moth stayed still for the longest time, so I was able to take a few unhurried shots. I went in to put the camera away, & he was gone when I got back.....guess he knew his job was done!
