Evening light

This morning I had an early swim then spent rather a lot of time in front of the computer, before meeting up with a friend this afternoon. Therefore the only time I had to blip was this evening, but to be honest it's been so hot today this really was the best option. What a wonderful wind down and a great excuse to visit lovely places.

This was taken at the side of a lane, with the light streaming through the leaves. Behind you can see a field of maize, and further back still a field of very battered oats. Here it looks like its been cut in lines, but that's just how the weather has flattened it. So much of the oat crop seems to have done the same this year.

Friday tomorrow. Another weekend looming! xx
