Nova Scotia from above
Flew from Toronto to Sydney Nova Scotia today to visit my friend Bighill and was lucky to have a window seat and clear skies.
Got a great view of the Bay of Fundy at low tide from the air - cliffs and red mud exposed. I really liked the patterns of the water flow in the mud.
The lakes are frozen and from the air you can see the cracks and the flow of the water under the ice. This is a lake in the middle of Nova Scotia, just south of the Bay of Fundy.
Now I'm sitting in the farmhouse, full of yummy home cooked food and excellent wine, enjoying the company of my friends.
I just wish my husband and son could be here too - too many good things in life sometimes.
