Scary escape!!

Didn't sleep at all well last night. Kept having horrible dreams about getting caught sneaking out. Alarm woke me up at 5am and got all my stuff together and then went into Jess's room. We kept hearing noises and thought they were in the pub. So creepy. Carried my bags down the stairs first and then I helped Jess take had big bag down. You have to go through a big door and then down some stairs and then through another door. Next you have to go through the kitchen and then out he back exit. Walk around the back of the hotel to the front. We did all of this in the pitch black. We were so relieved when we saw the taxi waiting for us at the post box. The taxi man was a bit strange and didn't speak the whole way but he took us to Quirdini station. The only excitement of the day was that we spotted subway in Quirindi?!?! And it opened at 7am!!! So we sat in there for a long time and enjoyed a subway. We were so paranoid every time a ute drove past. We were nice and sent a message saying 'Just wanted to let you know that my cousin came to pick us up early this morning. I just don't think it is going to be for us. Hope you manage to find some suitable backpackers.' I got a call on my phone from a number that I didn't know. Our faces completely dropped! Obviously didn't answer it but they had left a voicemail message. In the end it turned out to be someone else! Train was late which didn't help but when we got on the train we were both very happy! Had a meal on the train. Had some pretty odd people on the train but a least and I hope none of them were from Spring Ridge. Said goodbye to Jess as I had to get of at Broadmeadow. Jess is going back to Sydney. I was potentially going to go back with her and crash at Jacks house.
On the train from Broadmeadow to Newcastle I sat near a tramp that absolutely stank of piss. She was singing to herself and the applauding herself!! Found a bus at Newcastle to take to the airport. Again more tramps....
Checked my bags in and got through security. Got the bomb test again...must look like a dodgy type!
Flight was delayed!! Finally got on the flight and met Duncan at the pick up place. Was nice to be in the Sayers car finally. Duncan and I got a McDonalds on the way back. A LONG, LONG DAY!!
