A stitch in time....

Quick trip in to town and as i weaved my way through i walked past All Saints shop.. The window display is just full on sowing machines.. Each time i walk by i think of my childhood with our singer sewing machine which i think used to belong to my nan... I used to love buying a dress pattern and material.. laying it all out on the dining table, pinning the pattern onto fabric and cutting it all out into various shapes.... I remember once in needlework the teacher holding up my work and saying "this is definitely not how to do it" She was obviously jealous of my skills!
It was really really to hot today and i struggled until i got home and collapsed into a lovely sleep. I think i overdid it :(
