Summer Field

Today, we went for a lovely walk from Neufels to Forchtenberg along the river Kupfer. Initially we might have not quite taken the correct path as we had to ford the river about four times. The boys loved it, Rowan wasn't too convinced, especially when she got clegged. The walk was saved by following an old forestry road out of the valley and then walking along agricultural roads. I love the mixture of fields and forest. The walk wasn't too long - 8km - but we were glad when we arrived and visited the Ochsengarten for something to eat and drink. All in all an excellent afternoon out.
