Poison

I'm fascinated by these berries of Arum Maculatum or as I've always known it, Cuckoo Pint.
It is poisonous but apparently tastes so foul and irritates the mouth so quickly that very few people have ever ingested enough to do themselves much harm.
I've noticed as the berries ripen and get bigger they topple over, and I presume that's how they spread.
Sorry it's so blurry. One day I'll get a proper camera.
