Can I highly recommend the following.

The Bristol & Bath Railway path. It's got a very good surface, is well used and has many attractions on the way. Did Bristol yesterday and Bath today.

Park Cycles in Staple Hill, Bristol. I took my bottom bracket there this evening and he tightened everything up and only asked for a donation to the local Air ambulance for his time. Gentleman and scholar.

The Bird in Hand in Saltford, Bristol. Right by the cycle path and the river. Serves a good meal and a very good pint. Of water you understand.

And of course the Avon Valley Railway which is where this was taken. Looks like a good day out.
