Sleepy Sea Lion

We were in Oceanside today, taking an afternoon sail on the boat. The winds were steady, and we had an enjoyable time. Afterward we took a long walk around the harbor and marina. The sea lions are becoming a bit of a problem, as they swim in from the ocean and park themselves anywhere they like. If their chosen spot is the dock of your rented slip, so be it. When I took this photo, I didn't even pay attention to the orange striped sign board blocking the dock where he lay sleeping. I just walked past and took several photos. On the way back I read the sign, which warned that the sea lions might be aggressive if bothered. He doesn't look too bothered to me!
