Rise

Home from the holidays, one day short of three weeks away for me and the girls. Hard to believe, all that Tour De France stuff and Hull seems absolutely ages ago. Conversely, the remaining three weeks of the summer holidays will absolutely fly by.

When I was wandering around the Yorkshire Sculpture Park yesterday it did cross my mind that Luke Haines (who I am a rather big fan of) would have hated approximately 90% of it. And I know for a fact from his 'Rock'n'Roll Animals' album and from interviews that he positively despises The Angel Of The North. Me, I still like it. I remind myself of that every time I pass.
