Pedalo

Out on the river for a wee jaunt. It did seem a bit toasty on that pedalo and when we got back to the car and it read 42 degrees we realised why.

Dinner out after evening swimming - smoked trout, guinea fowl, tarte aux pommes - God bless the beauty of the 'prix fixe' menu.

And even tho' the sun was shining mercilessly and I was with my children and on a pedalo of all things I couldn't help thinking of Conrad and Kurtz as we drifted downstream.
