This morning we went up to Grandpa C and Mimi's house to actually celebrate Grandpa C's birthday. Miles got him (another) blueberry plant and blackberry plant for his big garden. One of Miles' favorite things about their house is checking out all the fruits and veggies. Today Miles picked a cucumber...then inspected it and told all of us, "oh, it has dirt on it, sorry!" and threw it out. The boys also played baseball before having brunch and cupcakes.
After we got home and Miles woke up from his nap we went to buy flowers for my hanging baskets (a mothers day present long overdue). The boys planted them while I cleaned up the deck so we could have dinner out there. Every day we get a little closer to having our house back.
