My Turks Cap and fern garden is at its peak right now. By the time I get back from the cabin on this next trip the blooming will probably be over.
A very busy day today. Gardening, cleaning house, laundry, and shopping. We had K and M, and Scott F. over for dinner this evening. Monte tried out his new deep fat fryer and made shrimp, scallop, and vegi tempuras. The batter didn't stick to the scallops very well but the rest was excellent. I especially liked the cauliflower and avocado.
