SummerTyne Americana festival

Today we went to the free SummerTyne Americana festival at the Sage Gateshead with some friends. There was an outdoor stage with free live music, lots of food to eat outdoors and cider. Not sure why food tastes so much better when eaten outside!
Unfortunately, it then started raining heavily so we headed to the pub instead. Afterwards we went to Hyena comedy club for some stand up comedy. It's currently Newcastle cocktail week so we indulged in some tasty cocktails at Alvinos.
