Cornwall Day 13

13 unlucky for some: We leave Cornwall today.

Whilst bleary eyed and making a last early morning cup of tea in the Farmhouse where we are staying, I noticed this young Jay poking about in the water container on the bird food station. The seed was nicely softened, not only by the water provided for him but by the heavy rains we had last night - no thunder or lightening though, thank goodness.

We're home in Shropshire now after a very good journey, only the smallest of delays getting on to the A30. Lots of wet roads to be seen from Bristol onwards but we were lucky to do all our journey in bright sunshine.

Farewell to our beloved Cornwall - but we'll be back again next year!
