CORNWALL DAY 14

A slow start to the day after our wonderful visit to the Minack Theatre and another night with "the Royals"!!

Once we got going though we had another gorgeous day.

1. First stop: Newlyn, Penzance to buy some fresh fish for supper;
2. M&S, Hayle for some more ingredients for supper;
3. Home to Cubert for lunch in the garden;
4. Siesta;
5. A visit to the Lappa Valley Railway at St. Newlyn East, near Newquay, for the last trip of the day on the little steam train to East Wheal Rose
6. Then to Wheal Kitty near St. Agnes where we walked down to the lovely beach at Trevellas Coombe here. As we left we passed by a BBC crew who were filming this beautiful area for the programme Coast. (my photos didn't do justice!!).;
7. To St. Agnes for a pint of ale at the Driftwood Spas and a walk down to the beach;
8. Home to cook a delicious fish supper to be followed by strawberries from Surrey, clotted cream from M&S Cornwall/Devon;
9. Next door neighbour came round to help out with the bottle(s) of red!!

Pretty tired now. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
