A long time ago...

I was a bit lost as to what to blip today, so decided on this very old photo of Paul, which is the only one still hanging on the wall by the stairs. We used to have three of him at different stages of baby/toddlerhood but I though they were getting a bit old. But I still can't bring myself to take this one down! I had to take it at an angle to avoid too many reflections and I made it sepia to emphasise how long ago this is (well 26 years roughly as he was four months at the time!). He was a very well behaved baby - once we got him into a routine he was no problem at all. My neighbour had had 5 children and she said none of them had been as good, so I then knew that he was pretty exceptional. And still is of course! He did agree a bit grudgingly to letting me post this photo, so I'd better not embarrass him further!!

A rather grey uninspiring day today and my digestive system was having one of its days of complaint, so haven't felt like doing much. It was agreeing to digest food again by this evening though, so that was good of it!
