Fairies at the bottom of the garden...

Yes, we really do now have fairies at the bottom of our garden! Now their house has been painted they're ready to move in. This was my little project the day before yesterday to finish painting the toadstool house - I wanted it to be as near to perfect as possible, so it took me over 2 hours until I was finally satisfied with it! The fairies have been living in our house until theirs was ready. I bought the toadstool house from Amazon and it was simply concrete coloured. I thought it looked suitable for what I wanted it for provided I painted it and I think it has worked quite well.

Went to Art this morning and have started a triptych of paintings of an Australian tree - one has the trunk and the beginning of the branches on, the middle one more of the branches and the right hand one will have the end of branches and the leaves. It's beginning to look as though it will work okay and it is apparently quite trendy to split pictures over three canvases! Not that I have any means of selling them at the moment!

Weather is even hotter than yesterday - goodness knows what the temperature is! I guess if we get this for long enough we will eventually acclimatise...
