Common Harebell
...I don't think it looks common though and I much prefer is proper name....Campanula rotundifolia!
We walked at Coombe Hill first thing this morning and there were several patches of these beauties, it was a very showery and humid morning but nice to walk in the woods and not many folk around either which is unusual for this hot spot!
I was pleased to feel well enough to ring for a wedding at the Church this afternoon, another lovely one with quite a few guests who were all deposited there by coach!
Ringing was great, our friends from Chesham helped us again and we had a great touch of Bob Doubles followed by Grandsire Doubles. We also had 3 of the guests come back into the Church to thank us - result!
Tonight we are having steak and chips, yum, and a catch up with the Tour De France.
Still very humid.....phew!!
