Paddling pool weather

Today we checked out a new play group in the morning, which seemed very nice. Madam enjoyed exploring and a few of our friends from baby play are also moving up now so some familiar faces.

In the afternoon we got the paddling pool out for the first time, she was quite surprised at first when I poured the water in but soon got stuck in for some splashing and splishing, bubbles and balls all over the garden! Needless to say madam loved it and had a great time!

After her dinner, she sat on my lap quietly and we watched the Night Garden together before going up to bed. Normally she's still full of beans and has a last minute clamber all round the play pen but today she was exhausted! I think all the walking (and the heat) have really tired her out. Even the thunderstorm late last night didn't wake her.
